Almost entire Delhi went without power for about eight hours on Monday due to the collapse of the Northern Grid, putting people to misery on a humid day when water distribution and Metro services were largely affected.
Train movement in north India was disrupted today due to the collapse of the northern grid with around 200 trains running behind schedule.

Thousands of commuters faced severe hardship in the morning hours on Monday when the Delhi Metro schedule went haywire due to large-scale disruption in services owing to a major power failure in the northern Grid. However, by 9am, the Delhi Metro said 100 per cent services have resumed on all lines.
